Cookies and analytics choices

The site uses necessary browser storage to remember your cookie preference and may use technical hosting or security logs needed to operate and protect the site. Our preference record is stored in your browser under pnm-cookie-preference-v1.

Google Analytics is optional. We do not load the Google Analytics tag or allow it to set analytics cookies unless you select “Allow analytics.” If allowed, Google Analytics may use cookies such as _ga and _ga_*to distinguish visitors and measure site use. Those cookies are generally retained for up to two years, subject to Google's settings and policies.

You may decline analytics without losing access to the site. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time through Cookie settings. Withdrawing disables future analytics collection from this browser and attempts to remove existing Google Analytics cookies for this site.

Browser privacy signals

If your browser sends a recognized Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, this site keeps optional analytics disabled. Because there is no uniform industry standard for “Do Not Track,” the site does not separately respond to that signal. You can always use our cookie controls or browser settings.

How we disclose information

We may disclose personal information to:

  • Hosting, security, and infrastructure providers, including Vercel, that operate and protect the website.
  • Google Analytics, but only when you permit optional analytics.
  • Our private CRM and operational systems used to review and manage inquiries and client matters.
  • Professional advisers, agencies, escrow or project participants when reasonably necessary to provide services you request or with your direction.
  • Government authorities or other parties when required by law or reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety, and security.
  • A successor in connection with a merger, financing, reorganization, or sale of all or part of the business, subject to applicable law.

We do not sell personal information for money. We do not use or disclose personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. If our practices change, we will update this policy and provide any legally required opt-out method before beginning that activity.

Retention

We retain inquiry and business records only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described here, including responding to requests, providing services, maintaining legal and accounting records, resolving disputes, and protecting the site. Retention varies with the relationship and record type. We delete or de-identify information when it is no longer reasonably needed, unless law or a legitimate business need requires longer retention. Cookie durations are described above.

California privacy rights

California privacy rights depend on the law that applies to the business and your relationship with us. Where applicable, a California resident may request to know or access personal information, correct inaccurate information, delete personal information, receive a portable copy, opt out of sale or sharing, limit certain uses of sensitive personal information, and receive equal service without discrimination for exercising privacy rights. Legal exceptions may apply.

To make a privacy request, email sherrie@permitsnmore.org with “California Privacy Request” in the subject line, or call (909) 544-7955. Tell us the right you wish to exercise and provide enough information to locate relevant records. We may verify your identity and authority before completing a request. An authorized agent may submit a request where permitted by law, subject to verification.

Children

This website and our services are intended for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through this website, and we do not knowingly sell or share personal information of consumers under 16.

Security and third-party links

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate to the information we maintain. No website or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure. Links to third-party sites are governed by those sites' privacy practices, not this policy.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our services, vendors, or legal obligations change. We will post the revised policy here and change the “last updated” date. If a change is material, we will provide any additional notice required by law before the change takes effect.
